THE LAST POST

It is known that for some years it was the tradition for a boy on Grindal to serenade the village with a rendition of the Last Post from the House balcony of an evening, and we have received a few brief reminiscences in recent months of this tradition. Should any OSBs recall the names of any of those who played on these occasions, the instruments used, and indeed any relevant anecdotes, please let either Tony Reeve (Editor) or Pam Rumney in the office have the details.
